Le courant ne doit pas être dirigé directement vers l'Euphyllia ; un courant moyen à doux suffit, juste pour que les tentacules bougent facilement dans le courant. Il peut être placé au milieu du récif ou au fond. Comme pour tous les LPS, l’éclairage ne doit pas être trop fort. Si vous avez choisi un réglage d'éclairage plus lumineux, vous devriez lentement y habituer l'Euphyllia. Il convient de noter que l'Euphyllia possède de longues tentacules combattantes et doit donc être maintenue à distance des autres coraux. En cas de blessure mécanique, le risque de gelée brune est très élevé, il faut donc être très prudent lors de sa manipulation dans la piscine.
